Musings about using Nikon Rf's

Although I love my SP Tom's musings make me miss my S3 Millenium. To me it's about the prettiest camera ever made.

I will say that I get more "keepers" when shooting my Nikon RFs than with any other camera.

Here's the one that found a new home.

that camera is so beautiful!!

ALMOST makes film attractive to me again...

Reminds me of looking at pictures of my ex wife before she gained forty kilos!

oops ... was that politically incorrect?

:D

Thanks Jon, I still haven't figured out how to do that!!!!
I did find the 15f4.5 in F-mount that was missing - it was in a Leica drawer. I also forgot my Zeiss Opton Sonnar 50f1.5 when I stuck all the lenses on the table.
I have just gone back to shooting with some Bessa R4's and R3's as well as some M2's - keep turning the focus the wrong way.

No problem, Tom :)
I just found the photos of yours that I intended to post the first time! Gear porn shots taken on film (with a Nikon F no less).

These photos can be used for the inventory list of a nikon RF dealer... with Tom's permission, of course.

Hey, I don't see any 50/1.1.

That's a pretty serious gap - that is one of my favourite Nikon RF lenses.

....Vick

Vick, you are right. No 50f1.1. I have used them but I did not like how they perfprmed so I stayed away from them. Also they are REALLY big and clumsy in my opinion.

Mike, yes, that is the Nokton 35f1.2 prototype, my 50f3.5 Heliar is also a prototype. No numbers etc.

What is missing is the 50f3.5 Micro Nikkor ( interesting lens), the 85f1.5 - I did have one in LTM - a bit soft and low contrast, the aforementioned 50f1.1 and the "regular" 21f4 - my substitute, the F-mount version works fine @ 10% of the cost.
