Hello from the Wet Coast
Just got back from the photo shop with 2 35mm rolls of Elite Chrome,a 5 pack of 120 Provia 100F and a 50 box 0f 4x5 Ektachrome. It's finally occurred to me, by the time developing etc is done, the cameras that I hesitated to bid on($$) over the years amount to loose change.:bang:No more crappy pics to finish off the roll. This almost makes building motorcycles reasonable !!

Exactly how I justified my Nikon D100 in 2004. Comparing the cost of one camera with essentially no operating cost to my Nikon F4 with film and processing costs led to an obvious choice. Film produced much better results then, but not enough of a difference to continue to feed the beast.

If you want to see expensive have a look at the gear lists in some people's signatures .. I generally ignore them but now and then one catches my eye and I have to get out my calculator and do the math!

I was checking one recently that totalled somewhere between sixty and seventy grand US ... it was all Leica and seriously made my eyes water! :p

Keith, I wouldn't want to cause distress to others, so my sig line has a modest mention of RF gear. :D
