How to get kids interested in film photography?

1. I will work on having them learn composition with a digital camera first.
2. Then, one day, and if we still have film processing at a cost that is suitable for kids, then only will I invite my kids to use any of my non-RF cameras.
3. Then the RF will be offered to the kids.

Why do you want to get kids involved into analog photography?
Rayt is right, we just have to get them interested in photography at all, no matter analog, or digital.

Analog and digital cameras are just tools. One who wants to use the analog, will make that decision based on own needs, right?

Photography. Digital is a more rapidly closed loop for learning, and cheaper. My teenage daughter was keen on film but has not submitted to the discipline of learning exposure. My son might now be interested. The flatness of digital black and white against a nice Tri-X shot is one attraction for them. But I don't have an interest in interesting my son in film. He likes the X100. I'd rather he learnt to take worthwhile pictures with that and he might then come to film on his own.
