M8 Photos

focus mount problems, one of the screws stripped on the mount i think. focus action on that lens was always a little stiff.

it's actually not mine yet though! it's a friends lens, but i've owned it before and sold it/traded it fo him, besides the focus mount issues it is a VERY sharp copy wide open and with minimal flare issues - once it's fixed properly this time and back, it will be mine! just playing the waiting game now :)

fair enough..where are you getting it serviced? I have to send mine to Perth. No-one decent in Sydney anymore

@ rodl: Thanks :)

@ menos: Wish you luck with the hunt for Xpan!

Here's a color pic from Massassaugua. 28Cron, 2 or 3 sec around 8pm.

More with the Canon 100/2. Not great compositions but shows what the lens can do. Last one is primarily a bokeh shot.

@ rodl: Thanks :) Love the creamy bokeh from your Canon 100/2.

@ Mark Schretlen: Great 90mm Elmarit-M shot, love those light shining through the clouds!

@ cnphoto: Your night shots seems noiseless, you must had the exposure dead on. Impressive :)

Have a great weekend everyone!

@ rodl:
Love the Flamenco dancer shot. How many lens do you have? :)

@ riceman:
Is that a rock rolling down the Crater? nice shot by the way.

@ semrich:
Great train shot!

@ cnphoto:
Love the third shot where the model is looking up. The light reflection from the light table onto the (black latex?) is just wonderful.

Three shots taken last weekend. All at ISO 2500. I think that the latest M8 firmware handles ISO 2500 better than previously. I had good results with these in Lightroom. However, the noise reduction here was done with Imagenomic Noiseware Professional in Photoshop. It works better on noise than any other solution I've tried.
