Actually, I'm pretty sure it's a deal. I'm kinda wondering if it's as great a deal as I think.

That's definitely a deal. if everything works well. You could sell the other body, grip, and a finder and make back a large portion of what you spent.

Yea, I was thinking that's a 105mm lens away from a great kit. I could fund that from the body/finder I'd sell.

Yes, get the 105 F2.8 lens if you can. Great lens! You would have a nice P67 kit, definitely.

If you like big Pentaxes, it certainly looks good, but I'll add two cautionary notes. Not everyone gets on with them: we used to have one at a place where I worked 30+ years ago (as a writer, not a photographer), and I could borrow it any time, but I never really got on with it. The other is that at the same place, where we were using very early 67s, we found that we needed 3 in order to keep 2 in working order: they were always going in for repair. I understand that the later ones were MUCH more reliable, and it's only one anecdote, but I thought I'd pass it on.

I'm not sure of the vintage...mirror lock up or not, but that's not a huge concern for me.

I've owned one before and actually did not do well with it. The problem was that it was a bargain camera in horrible shape that barely wanted to mount a lens. It took 3 hands to change the aperture. I'm now quite comfortable with my Kiev 60 + 180mm lens, so I'm fairly confident I'd learn to love the Pentax this second time around.

Did NOT end up with this set.
The seller came back and said one body and the TTL finder were sold. I really want a TTL finder.
They brought the price down, I probably should have bought anyway...
