Pointed and Shot: Your P&S Photos

The standout feature of my Ricoh FF-9 (available for about 5 GBP on eBay although I bought mine new in 1989) is that it will focus and make a correct flash exposure in total darkness, due to its active IR autofocus.

I believe majority of P&S cameras use active AF, only few of them having passive AF. Going through good amount of P&S cameras I haven't used one w/ passive AF (but know there are some).

London on a rainy June day. Oly Stylus Epic and Boots C-41 film @ EI 200.

There are a variety of topics regarding a number of P&S cameras, but not enough picture threads! My favorite kind of thread. Since I didn't want to keep bumping my Stylus Epic thread, I decided to start a new one.

Please post your P&S pictures. Film? Digital? Doesn't matter.

The Hunt is On!

I'd been trying to get this shot for ages.

This photo is the reason I go to page 1 first every time I look at this thread.. but don't tell MY cat I told you that. ;)

Hah, I won't! That is one of my wife's favorite photos that I've taken.

I'm glad to see this thread still active. Soon after I created it I actually SOLD my Stylus Epic to contribute to the purchase of my Leica!

Well, I love the Leica, but sometimes you need something a little less demanding. I'm going to Paris next month and I've already shot the city with a DSLR, my Leica. I'm going to shoot some video this time around, but I still wanted a film camera to use. What else could I do but buy another Stylus Epic? Luckily there was one available on the classifieds.

Oly XA Taken last week with expired Seattle Film Works ISO 400.
