Honestly I can't see enough difference to make any real calculated conclusion. But I will say that I was more interested in how these lenses performed at 2.8 in sharpness across the frame. The Biogon-C is almost faultless at f/2.8, exhibiting biting contrast and sharpness wide open with a nice flat field, and I feel it's a challenge for any lens to beat that.

I voted for #2, but .......... it may be a lighting issue, it is a bit less exposed than the others, and this can change appearance of tone/hue of the colors in comparison to the others.
I'm guessing #2 is the Lux, but may not be due to lighting (yes, thats my disclaimer!). And then again, I've never shot with the other 3 lenses. I shoot a lot of B&W like many others, so I would be interested in these same examples above in B&W!

Hm.

guess I like lens #1 best, because it makes the greens a bit more lush and I like greens...:)

Apart from that I'm not playing because I have not shot any of those four lenses and am unlikely to do so anytime soon!

By the way. To make the survey truly blinded, answer should be revealed only after the closure of the poll.

Interesting. I have three of these four lenses myself, so no excuse if I miss one.

Based on this series:

Image no. 1: Nokton 35/1.2 ASPH ver II
Image no. 2: C Biogon 2,8/35 ZM
Image no. 3: Summarit 35
Image no. 4: Summilux 35 Pre-ASPH

So how'd I do? ;)

I voted for no. 4, but I have no skin in this game. My 35s are Summaron 2.5, W-Nikkor 2.5, and yestereday I bought a Nikon One-Touch with a 35 2,8 (I got ripped off by the two old white-haired ladies at the thrift store and paid $11` for the camera.)

I picked 1 as the Summilux because,
in the oof areas there is a more defined look to it even though out of focus.
I have to say that the last 3 in each set look very similar and I find them hard to differentiate between. I do like pic 1 best but would be just as happy with all the others.
I haven't used the other 3 lenses at all. I find the Summilux near identical to the v4 summicron at f2 up.
I've done comparison polls here myself between v4, summilux and Ultron and unless I've got all three side by side I can't tell which is which even in my own pics at 2.8 up.
