Weekend Photography Plans: What are you up to?

souped a roll of hp5 tonight. hope to get some scanning done tomorrow, then in the evening help babysit our grandson. i reckon i'll make a photo or two, somewhere, somehow ... :)

Hi Paul,
Is this the grandson in Pensacola or do you have another grandson?

It is the weekend!
I used the LUMIX DMC-FZ5 digital camera in a 2 day visit of New Orleans with my family.
Today, it has to be a film camera.

What are you up to?

Raid, it is the grandson here in alabama. both granddaughters are in pensacola.
for this weekend, today is my youngest son's traditional birthday dinner at a japanese steakhouse ...

We have an amazingly good weather day today, and the weekend must be similar.
I will try to find photo opportunities for the Rolleiflex and the Contax G1.

What will you be up to?

Joining one of these world photo walks on Sat just down the coast from me at Southport.
I`ll take the M3 and 2 with a 50 Sonnar and 50 Summicron.
Trouble is both are loaded with APX400S and we`re going through a spell of hot weather in the UK at the present so it may be goodbye highlights :( .

i will be up to buying 120 film so i can try out a recently acquired zeiss ikon 523/16. i also will be up to buying some 35mm film, and buying some ink-jet photo paper for my bride's work printer just to try it out in BW next week.
the folder will get a good workout this weekend ...

The Conservative Party conference is in Manchester so myself and member Bob France are off to that. Protesters are planning to gather there too. Should give some interesting shots.

Hi Michael,
As Paul suggested, expose for the highlights, and maybe use a ND filter to allow you to use larger apertures.

Tonight there is an event where Heads of several local Churches will be presenting a "Real Men" Conference...
Normally, these events will draw in 500+ men from all walks of life...I have photographed several of these meetings and have been asked to shoot the one tonight...

Kurvy and Sam: Both of you seem to have lined up interesting photo events.

Sorry that I can`t join you Paul but I was out with Stewart on Thursday and then the photowalk tomorrow....don`t like leaving my little dog on her own too much :(

I'll try to go out in the morning and take some street portraits... Busy weekend, prepping a shoot in Latvia...
Regards,

I'm going on a Kelby Photowalk where I'm guessing I'll be the only film shooter. I've been collecting so many cameras I couldn't decide which one to use! Anyway, it'll be the Rollei 6008I2 and 3 lenses. This'll be a stationary walk.

This weekend in Wrinkle City

This weekend in Wrinkle City

Ms. Bee and I plan to be out and about the city tomorrow. Took in the causeway & one of the Indian mound parks so I could scout out some shady fishing spots and she could look for shells and wade. Carried along the Bessa w/a Canon 35mm 2.8 as well as my newly rediscovered Minolta repo 1/2 frame. Tomorrows another day, don't know if I'll change my kit We may just do some people watching.:)

I've been printing and matting the past few evenings, to put up a table at our local arts fair tomorrow. Lots of flowers and classic car photos: I'm guessing those probably stand the best chance of selling.
