Our Man in Tangier. I haven't been putting comments into this thread lately (nor, for that matter posting to it often enough to give much deserved recognition, but that's another story); however, this image begs for my comment, so...

not only is there an awful going on, as everyone has observed, on the physical planes of action in this image, but I suspect to also on the many planes of human relations depicted here.... This shot begs to have a short story or a screenplay written from a riff on what's going on in this scene. I'm not sure you could have planned the mise-en-scene any better had you been posing these folks.... It makes me think of the Harold Pinter/Joseph Losey film collaborations (Accident perhaps the most ... or The Servant).

Thanks ferider for mentioning my photo.

As always, there are several that I enjoyed this past week.

Lynn, this is very creative and required a good eye.

I really liked this image by Frank. I still like this crop - She seems to be leaning into the light and open space. I find an eagerness and energy in the pose.

Thanks Andy. I enjoy seeing a beautiful staircase. The considerations of grain, and joinery as well as choices of wood and finish, not to mention the compound angles are very interesting.
