Weekend Photography Plans: What are you up to?

It's Sunday and my favorite BBQ place is having a Crawfish Boil at 1pm. Well, we'll see! After living in New Orleans&Baton Rouge the last ten-odd years, well we"ll see. I'll have my Canon P along, but it 's not easy to make them taste like they do on the bayou. It's called the bayou because the water goes bi-you-house.

finished a roll of 120 hp5 (zeiss ikon 523/16) at anna ruby falls near helen, georgia, and finished a roll of 35mm hp5 in the IIIf while in helen. will run the 120 tonight, so maybe scans tomorrow. met up with dave lackey and his bride. got to make a few shots with his leica-r4, and his m5; he made a few shots with the IIIf, using memories 200.

I'm developing 35mm film from my recent trip to Boston. I'll be scanning later as the film dries.

I spent yesterday editing HS football shots. It was really fun - I did something dumb and found myself re-editing about 50 images. I'm old enough to know better.

We will have gorgeous weather tomorrow and on Sunday. This is Florida at its best.
I will continue using the Pentax Spotmatic F and the Standard Leica.
Lenses: 21-35-58-85

What will you be doing?

Shooting a girl in the foggy fall weather at a castle-like estate on the ocean in Ipswich, MA. Taking my M6 loaded with Neopan 400.

Will check for photographic interest at the site of three houses being demolished, the properties expanding the university campus a little.
Also will check the weekly open-air farmers' market, which should be winding down for the season.

Visiting my daughter near Bern. Will use Superia 1600 for indoors. MRC to Fujicolor 200 for outside shots, if the sun will breach thru the overcast.

There should be a sundial somewhere on a mansion there...

Lugging an SLR around for a change, the $5 thrift store Nikon 8008S that I posted about. I actually needed to RTFM to load it properly... Didn't realize program mode only works when the lens is set to the smallest aperture.

Hoping to pick up a developed roll at Walmart later, some 120 Ektar I shot in a Brownie Reflex, and there's a roll of 135 at the drugstore, it will all need to be scanned, I have a backlog of B&W to soup at home and my first enlarger to set up and... Sometimes I do think I should buy a Canon G series and just be done with it. Only sometimes. And only very briefly.

Have a good trip, Paul. I bet that you will be having some great looking images here. I miss that part of the country.

Have a safe trip Paul, I spent two years in the Johnson City area years ago. Beautiful area, most any way you turn. Going to go to an Indian Mound park today with one of the Canons. Maybe the III or the 7. Might even get a fishing line wet!
