i couldn't find any info on this toy camera anywhere.
guess that's because it is one of those unimportant cameras,
like Meikei, which was also produced by toy company targeting at kids, but never risen to the cult status like Holga or Diana, not to mention the most sought after Fujipet...speaking of Diana, i believe Anny also make a Diana clone, which appears on the auction bay quite often.

i am a half frame cameras freak so while a long time friend show me this my eyes just popped out, and he is so generous that he gave it to me as a new year gift. :D

the Anny-H was produced by Hoei Industrial co.
just a bare bone toy so it is fixed focus, with a I/B spring shutter,
the Diana-Mini-lookalike 1:8/40mm lens offers a choice of three f-stops (8, 11, 16), with six blade diaphram,
that meter-lookalike beehive thing around the viewfinder is only a decoration.
the film-counter is a Olympus Pen- type and i think the "Anny-H" logotype also resembling the Pen-W.

i popped in a Kodak Ultramax 400, not expecting any good result, just enjoy that pure snap-happy fun.

I'll have to check my bookmarks for a site with information on Anny cameras. Saw and read about them somewhere before. At least it's pretty.

I have a pen F half frame, yours looks like it'd be 'funner' to use, probably with cooler pics! Good Luck!

"* Anny-H

(1963) 40mm (f8.0) fixed-focus lens. Imitation selenium meter. Manual shutter speeds of B & I. Cold shoe and PC contact built-in. Like the Tougodo cameras, this was cheap imitations of the Olympus Pen camera."

From the Sub Club.

the first roll is quite a disastrous ;)
should have tried with higher speed film and E2C
and a 40mm lens on a half frame is "TELE-er" than i expected--even i already have a Pen FT with 38mm lens (BUT it is a SLR!)
i sure will use it again...such fun when using it.

??...enlighten me please!

So far cameras with f/8 lenses I have seen have combined blades for aperture and shutter, making diamond shaped opening. By any means there are no six separate aperture blades. This made me wondering about this particular camera.

here's how the aperture openings look:

at f8, the 6 aperture blades opening is bigger than the hole-shaped shutter...;D
