I chose the J1 because it is cheaper and serves all my needs.I also like the big LCD.It fits my shooting style.Bye. Loretta

Hi, Loretta! Very nice pics - you may want to post them instead in our Nikon 1 part of the site. Calling a J1 a "Point-N-Shoot" is a bit dismissive of what they can do.
