Polaroid Bigshot( Andy Warhol-cam) has magic-x-flash bulbs only. If portraits are not shot infront of a wall light fall off is big.

Is there a possibility to trigger e-flash or a second magic-x-flash? Thanks

I have a Kalart electronic flash that has a flashbulb fitting instead of a hotshoe, designed to replace flashcubes on Instamatics. I see them around from time to time, maybe you can finde one of those and modify it. Alternately, I bet a slave optical trigger would fire a second electronic flash from the flashbulb.

my analoge ones do not trigger, maybe one of those with delay. maybe the one from fotowalser(walimex). has built-in-battery. Will come back when i will have it.

Wow!
The one i have is called Kalimar K-412 Model 50 60
color film 4-9 feet
b+w 4-12 feet
And its working.
Of course its not powerfull enough. at least there is an exposure compensation on bigshot. i dont have film but i have a flashmeter, can then compare. flashmeter cannot measure magicubes.
I want to use an additional flash anyway and the camera-distance is fixed.

as alternative i remember an adapter by ROWI and others. Will search in my stuff.

No matter how small my attachements are i alway get an over-quota.
Even by opening a new message.
btw: i have found the adapter and its working!

I've hooked up electronic flash via triggers to my polaroids and with a flash meter have been sucessful:

I know your cubes are built into the camera, so I would isolate the synch wires and mount a small flash on lens axis to the camera (using triggers or direct). The big shot only worked (well) with the cubes. Then check the F stop of the 'Big Shot' and tune it to your flash with or without ND gels over the flash.

Just bought a Bigshot for three (3 euros). I was contemplating electronic solutions (and will check the ones above out), but I also managed to find a few cubes on flea markets for a few cents. Have yet to try the camera.
