Just a heads up, in case you are looking for some FILCA. I'm not in any way associated with this ebay item, but I noticed that these are available at an unusually reasonable price, especially considering the free shipping. Just sharing the love.
There is no mention of the canisters, so it is probably just the FILCA cassettes themselves. DYODD.

The listing says the FILCA cassettes have the "N" stamp. What does that signify? It looks sort of like a "Z" as in "Zu"

"Zu" = closed. (I think - reaching back to schoolboy German, many years ago.)

Be aware of this seller. Some of his/her cassettes are not FILCA's. They are off brand versions that won't fit inside your screw Leica. I suspect they are for other Leica copy models..
I've had to send back several..

Good tip Colyn. I bought a few. If they turn out not to be true FILCAs, they'll be going back.

If these FILCA's are considered cheap, I must have given four people here a real good deal, selling 10 IXMOO's for EUR 75
Not selling any more though, I got 30 left

Yeah...you gave them a screaming deal (Ixmoos usually go for higher prices than Filcas). I'd say the average ebay price for a single Ixmoo cassette is around $20-25 USD. Finding groups of more than a couple cassettes for sale in one lot is pretty rare in this day and age. At least you tallied up some good Karma

I agree, buzzardkid. You gave someone a great deal on IXMOO. As dap said, they go for high prices on ebay. I often see IXMOO for $30 to $40 each.

At least all four sets of 10 pcs went to RFF members!
Karma galore!

I got my six in the mail. They are true FILCA. All are in working condition, no dents or bent springs, no missing spools. Some are missing the bottom felt washer, and a couple have green felt washers that look to have been hand cut.
They are all clean. The bluing or paint or whatever it is has come off of half of them so they are bare brass on the outer cylinder.
I don't see a problem with these. They look fine. I am pleased.
Perhaps this seller was educated as a result of your past experiences with him, Colyn.
eBay shows that he has 13 more left.
Now if I can only find a good deal on IXMOO or Shirley Wellards.

I'm a bit upset about this offer. He doesn't ship to Spain. He ships farther, but not here... :-(
Those FILCAS really look beatiful, but I'm afraid I don't know what are they for.
I mean what advantage do they have against normal film rolls? I just got myself a really nice IIIf, and I thougt I could load it with standard rolls? Just got it today, you see.

I just sold my IIIC but I'm holding on to the dozen or so I have on hand for when I go Leica again.

The Leica camera will take standard cassettes but many hardcore Leica users like to load with the FILCA's.
If your IIIf does not have the "foot" in the bottom plate you may want to place a felt washer in the lock key to prevent the standard cassette from drooping since it is slightly shorter than the FILCA..

I've just chequed with my M2 and the bottom plate is almost identical. So I
think I have that "foot". A relief.
Still think they're beatifull, those little cassettes

Tono10, the M2 will not accept the FILCA. For the M cameras, you need the IXMOO. The FILCA only works in the LTM cameras like your IIIf.
I'll be using the six FILCA cassettes I just bought with my IIIc, but I'm definitely interested in also acquiring some IXMOO for my M3.
