7dayshop offer on TRI-X

Thanks John. that seems to be the best uk price at present. It has been running for a while and that's where I get mine.

John.

Just curious; is that less than you'd pay for HP5+ in the UK?

I'm pretty sure it is.

What is interesting though is how 7dayshop can supply TRI-X at this price now that the Channel Islands VAT loophole has been closed, whilst their competitors on the mainland are still charging more - and the 7dayshop price includes delivery!

7 Day Shop seem to have moved away from Ilford films in the past year.Unfortunately as I used to get XP2 from them quite often.

I think they had a 'falling out' with Ilford over pricing - with one or the other refusing to either supply or stock their products. It's a pity as I used to get all my Ilford films from them.

With the GBP trading at around $1.50, these prices are looking very attractive for US photogs traveling to the UK. I could order it from the US (web) and have it delivered to my friend in Suffolk, timed to my arrival. These are very much like Freestyle's prices over here.

Hummm... these prices are way expensive. I know they include shipping, but for anyone that takes analogue photography seriously and buys 6 films per month, you can get them a lot cheaper with shipping.

I think (you'd better check) they only deliver to the Credit Card address.

Bets me where then ?? So far 7dayshop.com works out cheapest by a long way.

They stopped stocking Ilford films because they couldn't get a good enough price to allow them to compete with other online retailers (including Ilford's online store).

They're worth keeping an eye on if you don't need your film in a hurry - they usually offer excellent deals on various films.
