Great! Love the image quality and the tonality!

And your other shot posted here as well, since the series by Dutch photographer Erwin Olaf with all his models blinking in the pictures, I've been intrigued about those blinking faces.

It's that fraction of a second where the face is void of all expression, and people appear to be shown for how they really are...!

There are very, very few lenses, which have this absolutely refined balance and extraordinary smooth rendition into the background - I just love that look!

In direct speak - this Canon 85/1,8 is so good, it beats the Leica 75 Summilux - there, there, I said it !

I am glad, you figured out the calibration of this 85mm - looking forward for more ;-)

Yes, thanks Dirk, just got the lens collimation together yesterday after testing various shims, this lens is a keeper !!
BTW the credit goes to Juveny, the local lens master , deep respect !

These are really nice dierk - very good camera work and processing. Can I ask about your post-processing?

Irrespective of how anyone feels about digital or the M9M, I recommend that viewers click on the photos (then click again!) to see these in high-res versions. On my monitor these show just what an M9M is capable of. I'd imagine a good print would be stunning. If anything this sensor is just too sharp for portraits!
