or perhaps you eat what you are? anyway, all these photokina announcements have set off paroxysms of prognostication and punditry causing many of us (count me among the guilty) to have temporarily forgotten about actual photographs.

it's fun to muse about a camera that won't arrive until next year and that some of us won't be able to afford. in the meantime, since nearly all of on RFF eat from time to time, why not post an image of a meal you eat today? or if holidays or dieting or laziness have you fasting or fast-fooding or eating on the run , post from your archives if you must.

I'll start with today's lunch. An orange heirloom tomato and a spring onion graced my turkey and havarti sandwich. the fruits of
the field having come by way of the local farmers' market.

Sorry, didn't take a documentary pic of my Thai take out, it was delicious though but definitely already way down in the intestines to become a part of me ... partly, before departing ;).

na don't like the sound of that ... the only thing that improves skinned tomatoes and goats cheese is flat-leaf parsley

Fry the pepper first with tomato.. they turn soft, then put eggs and when the eggs get harder then put feta cheese.. We do it that way in Turkey.

I do that with green tomato and onion sometimes, but prefer them undercooked if its cheese and tomato so I blanch ripe tomatoes ...

I only really like mushroom omelette overdone, I fry those in butter first
