Does anyone make a nice Leica LTM pouch to accommodate a coollapsible Summitar or Elmar? What about ever-ready cases outside of the original Leica ones?

I bought a couple zippered pouches in nice soft leather from a local craft market leather worker. First-class work, but he said the small ones are a bear to construct. Use them for 28/3.5, 35/2.5 and 50/2.5 Voigtlander lenses. Cost about $15 each.

A few years ago I was lucky enough to find a great pouch which just fits an LTM with either a collapsible 50mm or a 28/35mm wide angle. This is the Lowpro Milan camera pouch #20341.
I just did a quick online search and they can be found although rare as hens' teeth. Price: $23.50.

The Milan is made of black leather with a fold-over flap to close it. Just big enough for a Barnack with lens and bright line view finder. There is a smaller inner pocket which is great for a Voigtlander light meter, a filter or perhaps an extra roll of film. The Milan has a slot in the back wall to slip onto a belt, or there is a matching leather shoulder strap which clips onto the sides with spring catches.

Best,
David

I use a generic microfiber glasses pouch that I got with glasses. Probably find them cheap online or in a eyeglass store. my ltm camera fits perfectly.

I found the perfect pouch for small lenses (my CV 15/4.5 and 21/4, and the 50/3.5 Elmar) at Daiso, sort of a Japanese "dollar store" where most stuff is $1.50. They have a few stores in California. These pouches were designed for cell phones, apparently tiny cell phones are still popular in Japan. They came in 4 colors and fortunately only one was pink, so I got the black, dark blue and light blue to keep these lenses apart.

I made my own for my IIIc and 50 Elmar. It's a simple bag made out of old blue jean material, twice the length of the IIIc so the extra bag folds over the front of the camera and provides a little extra cushion when it's in my pocket. Works for me altho the finders need a little dust off every month or so. I think the original pattern was 9 inches by 11 inches. Fold in half along the 11 inch axis and sew up two sides. I've made several. Also handy for protecting the IIIc when it's in a larger bag with other stuff. Joe
