I was wondering if it's possible to get a roll of Eastman XX 5222 in Europe?
The price on the Kodak US site for 400ft. is $155 even translated 1:1 in Euros (with VAT it's about correct) that would make a nice price.
I just can't find that stuff.
Any suggestions?

Last year I bought a 400 ft can from a cinema company in Lisbon, Portugal. They ordered it directly from Kodak (and they even offered their services for developing the whole film, as they tought it was to be used for movies).
Try some local movie companies, maybe it's wortwhile - after all this is a cinema film...

In the UK you could try ThatsAWrap at the following page. Their 400' price is about GBP85, plus BGP6.95 postage within the UK. They might have short-ends too, but that is less likely for b+w I suppose. They will apparently also deliver in EU but I don't know the rates for that. Maybe a group order would be a good plan?
