To say that I am bummed is...

I tried several times for a $20 bargain. Never worked.

But, with a touch of service by someone with skills/knowledge, these are really fine and reliable shooters. I like the aperture preferred exposure system. The GSN/GTN are nice but a little big for my taste; the GX is just perfect.

tase and GrantH, good luck with your cameras.

Col, can you PM me the contact info for the resident Yashica repair man. It seems like my battery door (or more) is not allowing my camera to work. I only paid 40 for the camera so I don't mind a few more dollars to fix it...but I'd like to talk with someone who knows what they are doing rather than me attempting it. The glass on this is in good shape.

The seller has neg rep input, and I have opened a claim/case against him.

This aren't new cameras from factory. Expect to do some work on them, yourself or send out. I bought mint looking G35, knowing look isn't everything, learned it, invested lot of time in it, didn't like ergonomics and finally sold it. Good way to have fun with vintage gear.
