exhibition jan 11 - feb 22 in berlin !

Now for something *really* stupid:

(I mean, I could have checked the date again...)

((but then again, I was sure it was Thursday))

(((I was somewhat surprised to find the room totally devoid of visitors. Or a host. The photos are exceptionally beautiful. Only then I realized I was a day early...)))

Markus

You have a very cool grandmother

For those of us that can't make it, more sneak peeks PLEASE !!!

Simon, congratulations on a successful show ! The speeches were eloquent and heart warming (thanks to Martin S. and you for translating them to me afterwards) , the photographs were excellent, and the chance to meet new friends and link up with old ones made the evening very special. Prost!

Lem: haha, great pic... but you are missing on it ;) it was great to meet you.

Awesome opening! Nice people, plenty of alcohol, great prints. Congratulations Simon and thank you!

And now off... to develop the rolls I shot yesterday from the opening.

Nice evening Simon, great photographs!! .. although one knew many of them already it's always better to see them printed so large instead of looking at them on a computer screen!

Great shot!

But I regret to say there is somebody missing in it: me!

Simon, i've always admired your pictures, for their content, framing and beautiful tonality. And now that I've seen the sneak peek of that one framed picture, even more so!

Who did the printing for you? And was it wet printing? That framed newspaper shot really looks stunning...!!! I'm pretty confident that you will sell some of those prints!

thanks all. i had a good time. i think i will be in the gallery on most of the next few saturdays.

Simon -- I am very happy for you, as I like your work a lot. I wish I could afford a trip to Berlin to see your exhibit. BTW, Is that Lluis from Spain standing nest to you in the colour photo above? thomas

yes, that's Lluis from girona.

Would love to have made it over myself Simon, especially for your grandmother's free beer;)

I'm sure it will be a huge success by the end of February and wish you all the luck to match your hard work and talent.

P.S. I'm getting a little concerned that I may have to grow some face furniture if I'm to fit in on the next RFF EuroMeet!!
