Twigs Found

This was snapped with a Polaroid SX-70 on Impossible "Color Protection" film, then copied with the iPad mini before it was fully developed. I beat it up in Photogene and Snapseed.

Godfrey, clever, I'm not sure I understand the beat up part, but nice. I have a couple of Polaroids (One Step, and a 104) you can have them if you want them.

Thanks!

Ah, just, oh, crop the heck out of it, twist it up through a dozen different adjustments and iterations, add the vignette, add the border, etc etc. It's more fun than a serious effort at this point, playing with some ideas.

I think I'll be happy with just the SX-70. But if you want to dump your Polaroid flotsam this way, send me a PM and I'll send you a place to ship them. I similarly have a half a dozen entertaining cameras that I'd be happy to give away cheap or free to anyone interested to play. Perhaps we should start a dedicated thread for that stuff. :)

fun fun fun,

At home sick today, trying to rest, I was wandering through some photos of the past three years. This exposure of the Great White Egret in flight stood out to me again:

Olympus E-1 + Nikkor-H 85mm f/1.8
ISO 200 @ f/4 (est) @ 1/4000 s

I posted another one from that walk in March of 2011, but after re-reviewing them, I find I now like this exposure more.

Thanks for looking. Comments always appreciated.

The little Lumix LX1 doing a good job in dull lighting on this house renovation in Aberdovey.
