Took a walk on the River last week and shot a few, It was very relaxing just doing the point & shoot.

Great! Wouldn't be able to tell the difference between this and a leica M/summicron 35mm would you?

The stylus/mju II is probably my favorite camera.

I really like my Oly Epics. I have 3 of them. I have never used PX125. Is it true it is discontinued. I usually use Tri X in My Epic.

Plus-X was always one of my favorite films. Unfortunately, I never shot enough of it, and now it's discontinued. And I gave Mom my Stylus when her camera crapped out. For now I've got a Canon Sure Shot M that is quite similar in size and shape to the Stylus, but with a slightly wider lens (32mm/3.5), and no sliding door.

Your photos have that wonderful tonality that Plus-X was known for. Good shots.

Is there anything comparable to plusx? any ilford ones?

Try Ilford FP4+ or Agfa APX100 (if you can find it).

Also Fomapan 100 or 200 can get close.

Nothing is like real Plus-X though.

I love these little cameras. They are starting to rise dramatically in price as more people realise just how good they really are. I have two Mju ii and a Mju I. I think I prefer the mk I.

good. Im glad I just found 1 for 2 bucks. Finished the roll that was in it and was hoping for good results but who knows how old the film was. It may have been in there since 98. They didnt turn out very good at all.

Fresh roll in there now so hoping to see some sharpness this weekend.

Ditto.. the II may have the better specs (faster aspherical lens, longer shutter speeds possible, spot metering thrown in), but the I is better in the user department (bigger finder, AF-speed, less stiff shutter button)..

Olympus have not written anywhere Mju II (aka Stylus Epic) has asph or ED glass. Some zoom models do and it's reflected in descriptions and manuals.

Not that this diminishes fixed focal length models, though.

I love my little Stylus Infinity. I love that it can be opened and shot with one hand, and takes just over 1 second to go from asleep to snapping a shot.

Mine was my Mom's and she recently gave it to me along with a roll of unused Kodak film that was nearly 20 years old. Thanks Mom! :D

I don't have any good shots handy here at work or I'd post something. My avatar was shot with it, if that counts. :D
