Hello all. Must share this news: after many years of using and collecting classic cameras, I've never had nor seriously sought to have two camera bodies with consecutive serial numbers. Well, it looks like that will change: last week on a Skype with a long time friend and avid Nikon RF collector, who just bought a Canon L1 with 50mm f2.8 lens, we discovered that we have two consecitive number L1 bodies! An amazing coincidence when you consider the odds of finding them, let alone among two old and dear friends. As he read off the number of his L1, and I looked at mine, I got a chill. We could not believe it: these two left the assembly line over 40 years ago and will soon be re-united. Amazing!
By the way, we Skyped so I could show him my complete Canon 25mm f3.5 lens kit, with finder (mint!), warranty card in Japanese, instruction books, leather cases, and boxes. After several years of searching for this lens, I hit the jackpot.

Just two days ago I saw a Canon 25/3.5 with leather case and finder but not boxes & papers for a not to expensive price here locally... Did not buy it though ..

Canon 25mm f3.5 on a Bessa T. Great little lens - and the emphasis is on the size. It is tiny, but actually very good. Mine is quite well seasoned - but no flare.
Bessa T, Canon 25mm f3.5. ORWO UN 54 in "home brewed" Td 201 developer. Just in case - the # of the lens is 13861

I know....lucky me. One more item on the want list, and I may have one located: authentic black Nikon P, L1, or VT body.
The 25mm on the IVSB2 is pretty special.

You should buy it, Gabor! I like mine so much it's the one lens I'm thinking of buying a second copy of, just in case.

Only serial number coincidence I've run in to is two Nikkor 24mm AIS lenses. They came from the same pawn shop at different times. They are both 100% mint. One serial number is 805365, and the other is 805965. Certainly not in the league with consecutive numbers, but it caught my eye.
