Considering returning to photographing weddings.

Does anyone know the flash sync speed of the M7 when coupled with pocketwizards?

I'm assuming 1/50th.

1/50th is usable for static subjects indoors, but's it's the outdoor fill and dance floor shots that worry me.

I have a fair amount invested in PW's and some older Nikon flashes, and would like to keep and use them.

Need to further investigate the Metz system, but I want to use a two or three light setup for formals/reception dance floor.

Yes, sync. speed is the same using Pocket Wizards. Sync speed is determined by shutter. Leica has FP shutters. Some newer cameras have a higher sync speed. All the PW does is send from camera and receive at flash. Exception to this would be a camera that has TTL (doesn't M7 have this capability?) that can operate with PW that are TTL capable. I run everything manually so my PW are not TTL capable. I bought mine before that feature was available and, from talking to other photogs the results can vary. For me, the PW doesn't change how the camera operates with flash. I use Quantum flashes.

I use a tripod.
