My shot

My shot

Here's my test roll with yashica GSN. love the camera, allthough the film was a bit burned because of the +F3 -pressing while developing the film.

Taken in Delhi. Last frame of the roll so I only got this much. Film was simple Kodak 400 Gold. That exposure meter in the GSN is amazing.

I took the first pic around 31-32 years ago on a GSN. These are the actual colors that I took, no computer enhancement. The second one was taken in Kiev, a couple of years back, underneath the gigantic titanium statue referred to as Rodina, honoring the many Soviet soldiers who paid the supreme sacrafice defending their motherland during WWII. This was also taken on another GSN. If I recall, I believe I set the camera at F11 [hyperfocal distance for F11] and let her rip. Polaroid ISO 200 film I believe.

Great shots! Especially like the old one. But I thought you had to shoot with a Kiev if you're shooting in Kiev. Isn't there a law against that or something?

Ok went on a trip to Whitby and Staithes in North Yorkshire. Took my little CC with me here are some shots.

Have to say I love this camera, so good to use, can't get over how the exposure is always dead on:) and how sharp the shots are.

Yashica Electro GX at f/2.0. Pretty good for almost wide open. Film was FP4 developed in Aculux3. Having a few problems with dust bunnies right now.

Sorry for the proud dad shot, but maybe the fact that you can see she's managed to whip my Yashica lens cap will mitigate that :D

Nothing wrong with being a proud Dad. Your window lighting is beautiful, you even managed to get a little Rembrant patch under your daughters left eye, well done.

This is from my Electro GSN on some generic 400 film around Christmas time. I am so impressed with the wide range of image quality this camera is capable of.

A couple of shots at dusk

A couple of shots at dusk

I was a little disappointed that the mostly flawless metering in the CC was badly fooled during most of my dusk/nightlfall shots from downtown Portland. Here are a couple of the better ones.

400 ISO Ilford Delta, developed at mom and pop mini lab in the darkroom...

Yashica Lynx-14 somewhere around 1/60th @ f/2 tri-x One if my first real zone-focusing attempts--I was quite proud. :)

Yashica Lynx-14 tri-x, I believe this was around 1/60th @ f/1.4 at night.
