ZM 28 or 35 ...?

If you're going to use it on your R-D1 as well I would pick the 28. Personally I'm trying to decide between 25 & 28 for the same application...

The 25 is pretty stunning- seems about the equal of the 28 in my initial use of the two. More shot today on Pan F I should get run tomorrow.

i have not used the 28.
Joe,
do you have any photos with zm 25/2.8? I'm seriously thinking of getting one (or CV 25/4P). I understand you got both - can you post any images and/or comments on both?
Thanks

i don't have the cv 25 yet, i ordered it last week.
i posted some shots here from the zm 25 awhile back, i need to look for them.
i'm not the most organized...

Great shot, Aurelius! I've been very impressed with the flare resistance of the Zeiss lenses. This shot, directly into the sun shows flare of course, but the woman's face is still very clear. I doubt many other lenses could achieve this.

Thank you

Thank you

Thank you very much Joe,
Very nice shots and I want that lens now even more so than before. Please let us know here how your CV 25mm/4 p compares to it, once you have it. And if you ever want to sell your ZM 25 - let me know (unless I get one till then).
Thanks again.:)

If it's going to be your only lens, I would pick the 35. If you already have a 50, then I would go for the 28.

The 35 can serve nicely as an all-purpose focal length.

The 28 is a bit wide for an every day lens (my opinion).
