   Braun FS-120 Medium Format scanner

Asking Price Shipping Amount Condition
£900.00 £18.00 Excellent
Description:

BRAUN FS-120 dedicated medium format film scanner in excellent condition, complete with all 3 film holders, medium format, 35mm and 35mm slides, legal copy of Silverfast,  mains/usb cables and a handy soft dust cover, to protect your investment.

The quality from this scanner is amazing - especially so as previously I was using a flatbed. It showed me just how bad a flatbed scanner actually is!

I can't believe how well the dust/damager reduction software works on slides: I cleaned up a 40 year old Kodachrome slide which was covered with dust and damage by a single scan. Amazing!

There is an excellent review of this scanner here:

I have an album of full-sized scans taken with a Linhof 612 camera and scanned with this scanner here:

The conclusion is that this is the only real alternative to the best in class (the Nikon 9000, no longer made or supported) that is still commercially available and supported.

After the sale I will inform Silverfast so that you can transition the registration of the software so it will be legally registered.

UK auction only - will be sent RM Special Delivery.

I'd prefer the scanner to be collected for cash in person from my north London home and in addition to saving yourself the postage I will give you £20 cash back.

Do you have sample scans from this scanner? I'm highly considering one, and finding information, besides the linked article, is difficult.
