Description:

Selling a Leica M7 (in box with all original documentation, manuals, accessories) & Zeiss C Biogon T* 35mm f/2.8 ZM Lens (w/ Hoya 43mm UV filter). Serial#399****.. pretty sure its updated MP viewfinder as haven't experienced any flare (I'm in Australia) and updated optical DX reader as film drops out easily (will update with photos of camera open once I finish roll in there).

Both camera & lens are practically mint -cosmetically & functionally- looked after w/ utmost care and always stored in a padded camera bag. Think there's been around 10 rolls put thru it. The camera still has the plastic on the bottom.

Location: Perth, Australia.
Price firm in $AUD net to me.
Prefer local sale.

This thing really is a gem.. & a silent beast.

Thanks for looking

From the image included above, it looks like serial # 2999655, although the first number, the 2 is a bit hard to read. Maybe it's not a 2, could be a 3.

Did they update anything other than the viewfinder and DX reader?

I had an M6 TTL that had a metal threaded battery cap.  My older M7 cap is plastic, and it's the only thing about the camera that's disappointing.  I've lost a cap or two because it can pop off. Still a great camera though.

At least one change was made when the M8 came out. The rangefinder infinity adjustment was changed from a minus screw slot to a 2mm hex key slot. Makes fine tweaking easier.
