$1,000.00 None Excellent
Description:

Hi all,

It breaks my heart, but I have to sell my Rolleicord collection. I start with the rarest item: This is the Rolleicord 1a "Polizei". In 1939 only about 500 of those were produced, many of them did not survive and got lost during the war years. I believe this one was captured by US soldiers and brought to North America after the war, but I have no proof for that. The camera is described here, if you scroll down you see the ACTUAL camera for sale: (The writer of the Wiki asked me to provide the photo for the Wiki)

http://camera-wiki.org/wiki/Rolleicord_Ia

The camera is in good shape for the age and seems never restored. All original. The shutter works, higher speeds sound ok, slow speeds are to slow. If you intend to use it, I would recommend a CLA.

The price is in US$ and includes shipping within North America. Shipping to Europe is not a problem, but you pay the shipping. If you think the price is crazy, fire me an email with an offer. But I guarantee, if you collect Rolleis these are HARD to come by. Shipping is from Calgary Canada

Location: Calgary, Alberta, Canada
Postal Code: T2M 3Y2
Shipping Method: Canada Post
Keywords: Rolleicord Polizei

Interesting camera.
Is the only difference with a Version 3 the f3.5 taking lens of the Polizei vs. the f/4.5 of the v3?
Is there any marking added after it rolled out of the factory?

Since the lens was bigger, the "Franke und Heidecke" didn't fit on the lens like the regular 1a Model 3. Instead the printed the Name on right under the Rolleicord name plate. This and the lens are the differences.
