Konica IIIM journal

OMG! That's my fiance'.

Yes, she was real. Yes, I took another portrait of her, closer.
Yes, she was fascinated by the KIIIM and so we had a love affair.

No kidding. :D

Oh wait, no it isn't. Never mind. :p

Great work Nicolas, good to know you're getting much more out of the IIIA than I ever did.

A Tele-Koniflex might be up for sale some time this year. Being a Konica fan I wonder if you would be interested.

These are from the KIIIM, Yin. But I'm using the KIIIA, you're right. And I'll probably post some samples here soon. ;)

Like Adam said when he first saw the apple (or was it Eve ?) : I'll take it ! :D

Hello again, here is one I took with the KIIIA I bought from Yin :

I have vertically realigned the rangefinder patch on the Konica IIIA, but horizontally it's still a little misaligned. The lens is a Konishiroku Hexanon 48/2 and it is said to be very good (cf Dante Stella), but mine is out of focus when set at infinity. Anyway, I have been using the little camera a lot these days, so here are a few samples from the KIIIM's little brother.

And soon there might be another Konica... ca... walker on this thread. So stay tuned.
;)

For the last two weeks, I have been moving to a new place.
The Konica IIIA is my companion when I go for a walk and discover my new neighborhood.

I'm enjoying this, and particularly like #47, #50, #51. Glad to see you are enjoying your Konica so much!
Thank you for your words. I am loving my Konica rangefinders indeed... in fact, I even received another one today but it has to be kept secret until I shoot some pics with it... ;)

The Konica rangefinders are handsome cameras, and the lenses are clearly capable: what sort of prices do used III go for?
By the way, some lovely images on your blog as well!

Thank you again. Many recent pics on my blog have been taken with Konica IIIM, Konica IIIA, Konica Autoreflex T3 and even with a Konishiroku Hexar 5cm/3.5 in L mount. Konica used to say in their ads that 'the lens alone is worth the price' and honestly that is true. ;)
