Big Lens on XE-1

Been using my XE-1 for a while & love the camera! Recently found my Cambion 100-500 zoom in Nikon mount & got an adapter for the XE-1. Has anyone used a lens this big on an XE or X-Pro body? Any problems or things I should look out for? Thanks for any input.
