Covid, Economics, and Your way of 'Seeing'...

With all chance of travel to cities with good street photography gone - not to mention the street photography itself being gone as well - I took to shooting more street/documentary in my small town itself. Masks make for few interesting faces, of course, but I think I subconsciously started looking for interesting body language. Which goes well with a 35mm lens. I shot a decent amount of B&W film over the past year-plus. Both I and my wife have struggled with the feeling of claustrophobia that we tend to start feeling when we haven't stretched our wings and traveled a bit for a while... but that's going to be our - quite light, really - cross to bear for a while yet, of course. I participated in two "single in" challenges in the past year or so, one last April and one this January. So while I didn't have the subjects I wanted, I did get a decent amount of photography in, and I think I grew a little bit in the ability to see and find unexpected subjects.
