Difficult fit of Retina Curtar f5.6 + Wide angle lens hood fit

I bought a Curtar 35 mm wide angle lens f5.6 lens , great condition (looks unused) but found it a tight fit on Retina iic, quite difficult to get the final click into place. Has anyone had similar experience.


I don't have the 35 mm lens hood Kodak extension. Can anyone advise if any other Kodak hoods are suitable. Thanks.
