Film and Digital in 2021.

I largely agree with you, although it's funny you mention the Olympus film camera as being tiny, and digital cameras as being expensive and bulky. My current digital system camera is also an Olympus, and the EM5 Mark II is a tad smaller than the OM2, with smaller lenses as well. And cost me under $300.

Those Olympus OM-D cameras you mention are some of the most spectacular digital cameras around. I've been tempted more than once. I handled one in a store once. Beautiful, but just too much going on on the back. Plus - then I look at my OM2n, which cost me 80$ in mint condition - I look at my negative scans, which I've optimised over the past 20 years of trial and error and I think - this just makes me happy!

But all power to those who find DSLRs/mirrorless are their tool of choice.
