Agree, newtorf's Lone oak tree shot on 4x5 is gorgeous. But don't sell yourself short, cjm! That's an excellent image you posted, too, with layers from foreground to background.

Tri-X 35mm and 120 were introduced in 1954, the same year my Rolleiflex 3.5 Tessar was manufactured. The Tessar is a perfect match for this emulsion and Tri-X is the one film type that has always worked well with it. I shot this image in 2014. Save for the Lincoln Navigator behind the rear wheel of the Benz, there's nothing to date the photo.
