Help requested. What Canon rangefinder have I just bought?

Model III with after-market flash PC added at the back.

Quite a common addition found on many CANON bottom loading cameras not featuring the side rail flash connections.

Always thought the side rail connection was sturdier than the small bayonet mount that came with the model VT camera and on-wards?
