I am very glad to say my X1 is back from Wetzlar! Unfortunately I sent it only a couple of days before the covid lockdown...

Here is with one of my favorites Gordy's straps. I plan to use it in a not formal way therefore I did not mount the VF, yet!

Time for the hay to come in. I tried to hyperfocal the lens at f8, didn't quite succeed, but the front of the tractor is nice and in focus so I'll call it a win. I wish the camera had a scale for that and a slightly greater distance scale. Infinity to 5' is quite the jump.

I've now used the camera for paid work, so it's not just a family cam anymore haha. Very happy with its performance.

I turned the camera on program mode, face detect af, and handed it to my wife! She really enjoyed it.

Was out with doggo this overcast morning. Had my R8 and the X on me. Have to get the R8 film developed, but the X did well too.
