I just found this fascinating documentary about Robert Brown, a documentary photographer who has photographed subjects like the plight of the Rohingya people, prison fighting in Asia, and many more controversial and overlooked subjects. His work is remarkable.

He photographed the animal trade work with two Nikon FM2 bodies, a 28mm and 35mm, and a Rolleflex. A bit of research suggests that the 28mm is the 28mm f2.8 AIS, and the 35mm is the 35mm f1.4 AIS. At the time, he said that no digital body would withstand the environmental conditions of his work. He describes opening up the backs of his Nikons and drying them by a fire overnight!

He currently uses a Fuji GFX 50S.
