If I didn't already have the mV, I might have been tempted.

I can think of a lot of other cameras I'd rather have for that kind of money.
But it does have many pros for its category.

Yeah, it is a hell of a travel / pocket camera. It`s not for me though... I just don`t like the output of 1" sensors at anything but low ISO and I find the Sony body to be an ergonomic nightmare.

No other camera has this combination of small size, lens range and features. If that's what you want, you have to pay for it. But it's the only game in town for a camera like this. Everything else is either a slower zoom or a larger camera.

I've just got a Panasonic LX10, which suits me better because of the f1.4 aperture at the wide end. I do a lot of low light shooting and I enjoy shallow depth of field, so that suits me better than having a lot more reach.

At the same time, the video capabilities of the RX100 VI look remarkable.

Same zoom range than original RX10. Used that camera some years but started to dislike it, especially the motor zoom (which was slow and usually in opposite end where you needed it, in power up).

A touch too small for my hands, (the older models are), i'll pass the 1" sensor, been there..and don't need the long end of 200mm.
I won't complain about the price since i do have the 109 :)
