Just to be picky :) There are two different CV 50mm collapsible lenses, and both are Heliars to make it more difficult... But one is the 50mm f/2.0 Heliar Classic of 2006 while the other is 50mm f/3.5 Heliar 2009 issue. So, which were you using?
 
Didn't Cosina manufacture the RD1? It kind of proves what I've thought, that Cosina is the most fitting manufacturer for a modern rangefinder. I devoutly wish they would give it another go.
 
IIRC, Epson did all the "digital" stuff, while Cosina supplied the basic camera framework, so it was a cooperative venture. It would be nice to see them give it another shot!
