The Voigtländer 40mm f2.8 Heliar lens (VM & LTM) has been on the street long enough, let's see some images taken with this little beauty!

All the best,
Mike

I’ve been shooting mine extensively this week, on a Bessa R2a and on a Leica IIIc. Will post photos when I process and scan the film. In the meantime, here are some test shots (which I posted over on another thread) taken with a digicam.

Leica M-E 240, Voigtlander Heliar 40mm f2.8 LTM; both shots at f2.8:

Not 4 weeks ago, but yesterday evening.

For this picture I've used the black Nikon 35mm brightline finder from the rangefinder era. The frame of this finder indicates the smallest field of all my 35mm finders, so it must be my most precise finder for a 40mm lens. This finder works nice with the lens.

Mike, your pics confirm my long held belief that 40mm and its equivalents, is, more often than not, the perfect field of view for walk around.
The Baby Bear Porridge of focal lengths.
for me anyway.

Agreed. On the CL or CLE it becomes the iPhone camera for film users

Bingley Nice environmental portraits. I love how (s)he mimics you behind your camera. My son is similar in that, very aware of the camera I constantly point towards him. Children have a way of mirroring us that is fun and sometimes very introspective.
