W/NW Macro (also called Micro) photographs

I have been exploring the 32mm extension tube with a range of Hasselblad lenses. In photographing flowers I often see detail in petals I never appreciate admiiring from a distance. The origami like latent revelation of the iris is evident in the centre of this one with the 80 Planar. Ektar 100.

This is with the 150 Sonnar and the 32mm Extension tube. Here I was looking for something beyond just macro detail or a photo of record as it were. The Sonnar was wide open and near to closest focus. The even light of the south facing window created the back drop, and the shallow depth of field left the near convexity of the nautilus out of focus. Avoiding banality in macro shots is more effort. I think I used the prism finder but cannot now be sure. Nailing focus can be difficult with the Hasselblad but easier with longer lenses and with the extension tube. Maybe I got close to what I was hoping for with this shot.
