I am madly in love with my Rick Kelly made Bowery Pine Tele, the body of which is made from the roof beams of Jim Jarmusch's old warehouse loft in NYC's Bowery. The warehouse was built in the early 1800's out of old growth Pine, so in addition to sitting under a heavy load and being baked by the sun for 170+ years, the wood may have come from trees older than the USA itself:

It's super lightweight and resonant and Jason Lollar did up a set of early 50's Tele-style pickups for it. I will probably sell all my other Telecasters and have Rick build me another one, it's that good of a guitar.

what's the link to your indie label?
I'm not attached to gear much, but I do wish I still had my red Fulltone '69 that I got new in '97 or '98, it was s/n 6xx.
website: http://www.heavenrecs.com/ (update is very late on this one)
facebook: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Bandung-Indonesia/Heaven-Records/132807118787 (updated frequently but unfortunately mostly written in bahasa, not English )
My gear regret is an '96 LP Studio, nothing fancy but I love the sound on the playability of it.
@ Maggieo: Thats an might fine tele!

Wow, Maggie, that tele is spectacular.
I used to have an SHO but sold it...prolly a mistake. I now use a homemade boost pedal that isn't as good.
Here's the only effect I have that I'll probably never sell:

And the other nonnegotiable piece of gear...I have replaced every electronic part in this thing...I adore it.

nice!
nice!
I don't know anything about basses, but I was once considering a Shawn Lane Vigier. Ended up getting an O'Donnell custom that shares at least one feature, a perfectly flat fretboard.
Sometimes I noodle with the kids' clarinets playing bass lines on way low tuned guitars and octave down pedals. Someday I might get a cheap bass at GC to do it right ...

Cool thread!! Any bass players check out my website, www.basschat.co.uk
For the gear nuts, my pedal is a Roland Vbass unit. The bass is a 1988 series 2 Vigier Passion, carbon neck-thru with Marleaux electronics, Basstec pickups and the Roland GK 13 pin interface installed inside.
My amplifier, just visible on left of second pic, SWR 4x8 and 1x15 1991 cabs and no-name stereo 800w 1u digital poweramp.
Cheers

I play a P-Bass Special with the active guts ripped out and replaced with passive, the plastic pickguard replaced with gold-anodized aluminum, strung with flats and played with a plectrum. As the gods of rock intended.

It really is. Here's another MIJ Telecaster I own, one that used to belong to the great Robert Quine:

those are really nice guitars Maggie. Just reminded me I have an MIJ strat, still in Japan ('57 reissue sunburst).
I might have to drag my MIM blue tele out this weekend to photograph

I wanna play too! Here are the two rigs I've been rocking for a few years now. The uke was made by Mike DaSilva in Oakland, CA (#14!). The synth, well, is another beast entirely. Somehow they really complement one another in my life.
That's a beautiful Jazzmaster, Maggie!
