Hello,
I‘m a new member from Germany. I work with different rangefinder cameras like Zeiss Ikon ZM, Leica M4, Contax IIa. I also have an Amedeo Adapter to use the Contax Rangfinder lenses 1,5/50 and 2/85 on ZI and LM.
I never tried to use the Biogons 4,5/21 and 2,8/35 because I was afraid to cause damage to the camera.
During my holidays I decided to order a Voigtlaender R2C together with a CV SC 4/25 in order to use the full range of Contax RF lenses without the risk of loosing the good conditions of my old IIa.
Following the specifications on cameraquest.com for the R2C the post war Biogon 2,8/35 will work, the Biogon 4,5/21 with modifications.
Following the specifications of the Amedeo Adapter the Biogons won‘t work on M Leicas, also NOT the CV SC 4/25!
Now my question:
The R2C and the Zeiss Ikon ZM share a lot of constructive details. Does somebody know if the Biogons will work with the Zeiss Ikon ZM too? Did anybody try this combination?
