N. B., that lovely Bertele Sonnar described above is the Skyllaney Bertele Sonnar, the retro 1934 CZJ skillfully updated as well as possible without damaging those qualities that make it so special in the '34 edition. The '34's are nice, but this updated version has the original qualities with better contrast and color from the combined wisdom of Chris at Skyllaney in Scotland and our own Sonnar Brian right here. It renders edible colors. I have two English "50's", the Amotal and this Skyllaney Bertele. And then a sweet '57 KMZ Jupiter which combined keep me from moving to a 35. Like a great portrait painter who renders a 100% accurate portrait which somehow looks a little better than the actual, the Skyllaney Bertele has that same magic. Hats off to Chris and Sonnar Brian, Chieftains o' the Sonnar Clan.

First image Fuji F10, second Fuji X-T3, third 4x5 Ektachrome and last 1st gem digital Rebel.
