Some digitals from a journalism assignment last week. Kids playing at newly-rebuilt basketball courts on a pier in Brooklyn have been described as "traumatic" by stuffy neighborhood residents. There's a not-so-hidden streak of White Panic in the way nearby, wealthy residents of Brooklyn Heights refer to the crowds of kids that gather to play and hang out after school. As a result, the NYPD presence is...pronounced.

My first time posting a series of photos on RFF. Any critique/comments are very welcome!

Shot on a Canon 5D mkiii with 24-70 f/2.8 and 70-200 f/4 lenses.

hm..that basketball court can only be a good thing, if someone is afraid of agression it only can help to dissipate it

Pacco I hope we can meet some day, if in Phnom Penh, I stay a lot in Saigon and sure will visit Phnom Penh again, or if here in Ubud
Helen she was so lovely and lively, tiny young woman, taken during an art exhibition ( ISO 3200, wide open f1.4 and 1/40th, had missed focus on the second take which can be seen next to this one on my flickr stream )
