Taylor-Hobson Cooke 10 1/4 f/4.5 Aviar Anastigmat Series II lens

Here’s a link to what you’re probably looking for.

Cooke is still in business but there doesn’t seem to be much info on some of their lenses. I have a post WWII series VX and haven’t found a lot of technical info in them. It’s the infamous “Magic Ansel Adams” triple convertible lens like Ansel used to photograph Moon over Hernandez. Cooke has reissued the lens in the recent past but sill there’s not much written about them. I understand that most of the early records were destroyed or lost with little information on pre 1947 lenses.

Cooke makes excellent and very expensive lenses especially cine lenses. Even the old ones are pricy.

Thank you (x-ray) for your prompt response and for directing me to the Cooke compendium of lenses. In your assessment, what would you roughly value the Taylor-Hobson Cooke 10 1/4" f/4.5 Aviar Anastigmat Series II lens at?
