Joe, great shots. Love this little camera, with it's EOS menus and IQ. I have the 11-22, 18-55, and 55-200 lenses now, and am having a blast! It's not going to replace my 5D2, but it is a great holiday/snapshot kit. Great fun!

Yes, I like the snow for a little while but we only get it every other year and then not much - I wouldn't have emigrated from England to a place with a worse climate now would I?THAT is your winter?

Gorgeous sunshine and 8C today but here's an EOS M pic from a couple of days ago showing more typical dull February light.

that light looks pretty good to me...nice & soft...
we get lots of sunny winter days here, along with the snow...it can be blinding at times.

All,
The pics look very good. How do you compare handling (incl. AF speed) and fun factor to your various other cameras?

i have limited experience so far but...i like the feel of the small body...if it had a finder built in it would be a more familiar feeling but using the lcd on the back grows on you (did me anyway)...af speed for single shot shooting is fine...not the fastest but it works!
not an action camera by any stretch of the imagination...i understand the m2 and the soon to be m3 are faster...
