I bought an R1800 off CraigsList for $25. The carts are literally, 10 years old in some cases, according to the info from the printer driver.
N-O-T-H-I-N-G is printed from these cartridges, not even anything from the nozzle check or other test pages.
So the question is, how do I know if this printer can be refurbed? Do I have to buy a set of new color cartridges in order to even find out? Ultimately I want to use the Paul Roark recipes to make printer cartridges for black and white printing.
Any suggestions welcome. Where should I start?
